OFF v Cherry Tree
On Friday we had a Pairs Comp at MWMC which was kindly run by Ben Ward for us. Great turn out and Congratulations to Dan Hilder and Magic who beat Hayden and Dan in the final. Apologies if the comp was a bit rushed at the end but hopefully everyone enjoyed a good night out.
Last night the OFF played the Cherry Tree, with three games played. The first match was won by the Cherry Tree 3-2, the OFF started very well with a nice 95 finish from Chris Bartlett with the CT on 40. Cherry Tree were represented by Paul Wrattan, Jack Fuller, Jack Dickinson and Joe. OFF were Sean Lowndes, Liam Kitchen, Chris Bartlett and Bill Emberley. The second match CT were soundly beaten 3-0 and the third match was 3-1 to the OFF with Freya Shephard with a tops finish for the CT. A great night was had and thank you for the turnout. The Cherry Tree raised £175 for charity which will be added to the final pot at the end of the year. We have another OFF match at The Eagle on 15th June. If you would like to join in please let us know.
OFF Return!
In the late 80's and throughout the 90's John Jarvis and selection of other fine dart players take on the pub and club teams in a 4 x 4 Team match. We will be looking to recreate these Charity events in 2026! The Old Folks Four raised over £300000 over those years for local charities and some great players volunteered to enjoy the experience. We would love to raise even more.
We have an awesome team assembled and two venues booked but if you would like to take on the OFF please get in touch and we can arrange. Dates available now are the April (Trebles Board), October (Trebles Board) and December (Doubles Board) fixtures.
